It's all about the People. The story of Semantive
The history of the business officially began in 2016, while Semantive in its current form was created after the organization separated from another company in 2021. As our CEO Marek Lewandowski says, Semantive has been an important part of his life and most of his career, and this decision allowed him to spread his wings as a founder, increased decision-making and investment opportunities.
Since he was a child, Marek was connecting his future with business ,but the beginnings of his professional career were related to programming.
"Over the last years I’ve changed my professional profile from being a programmer to being an entrepreneur, manager and leader. I learned management work and how to run a company. Above all, I matured emotionally for the responsibility I currently have.”
The beginnings of Semantive were not easy – it was a constant lack of time and many business experiments, sometimes not entirely successful. It was also difficult to face lack of business awareness, as well as experience in this area.
However, openness to risk, learning from mistakes and the desire to succeed made the development of the company possible. Semantive's first project was brought to the company by Marek using the "cold email" technique - it was a British start-up that needed support with a project using the Google Cloud Platform. Currently, we have several clients in our portfolio, including a partner in the United States, for whom we implement a portfolio of cloud projects.
The development of Semantive is also supervised by specialists who have joined the organization. A year ago, Marek was supported only by Zuzia, our HR Manager. Today we have a complete management team on board - Agnieszka (Head of Operations), Marcin (Delivery Manager), Robert (Head of Growth). We also have a Recruitment team supervised by Ola (Recruitment Team Lead). Thanks to the support and knowledge of those people, Marek has the opportunity to focus on strategic tasks that are aimed at further business growth.
Currently we have over 50 people who make a huge contribution to the development of the organization. They are specialists who, together with our clients, build high-quality cloud solutions that meet the needs of modern business.

There are plans for further, cognizant scaling of Semantive, acquiring new customers and engaging in further partnerships. We also want to improve the quality of all activities and processes that already exist in the organization, as well as consciously introduce new processes. All these activities are aimed at bringing us closer to achieving our far-reaching organizational goal which is becoming the leader of cloud services in the region. Above all we want to maintain our atmosphere of cooperation and organizational culture and continue to act in accordance with our values.
