As a Spacelift partner Semantive provides professional services to enterprise customers who want to blend in Spacelift into their cloud platforms.
We are seeking a talented Senior Platform Engineer eager to join us on this mission.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Help customers scale IaC processes through Spacelift adoption
- Perform assessments of on-prem and cloud environments
- Provide technical assistance to customers in the area of Cloud/DevOps/SRE
- Deploy and configure Spacelift private workers to enable job execution in the following environments: AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem.
- Develop a virtual envelope capable of embedding various Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks supported by Spacelift (such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- 4+ years of professional experience, minimum 2 years in Senior Platform Engineer role.
- Experience in writing automation code in Python.
- Experience in building platforms used by other engineers.
- Experience in AWS is a must, Azure/GCP is a big plus.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD.
- Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible.
- Experience with IaC scaling tools like Terraform Enterprise/Cloud, Spacelift.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring, logging and tracing solutions.
- Experience with Hashicorp Vault or similar tool is a big plus.
- Professional/expert level cloud certification is a big plus.
