We are seeking an experienced Data Product Manager eager to join us on this mission.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to development and launch, ensuring timely delivery of features and functionality.
- Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data product, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Prioritize features and functionalities based on stakeholder feedback, market demands, and data-driven insights.
- Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications for data teams.
- Ensure that data products meet governance, privacy, and regulatory standards, working closely with legal and compliance teams.
- Oversee the implementation of data governance practices, ensuring data quality, security, and accessibility.
- Define KPIs and success metrics for data products.
- Regularly monitor product performance, analyzing user behavior, adoption, and impact on business outcomes.
- Maintain clear, detailed documentation for product features, functionalities, and technical specifications.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders on product status, performance, and roadmaps.
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Proven ability to manage multiple work streams, resources, and deadlines efficiently.
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Familiarity with data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure Cloud.
- Understanding of data governance, data catalog tools and cloud storage concepts (data lake, data warehouse).
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
- Experience in fostering collaboration and managing team dynamics effectively.
- Knowledge of tools like Power BI, GitHub, and orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster).
- Fluent in Polish and English
