Our mission is to support customers at various stages of their cloud journey, from initial migration and cloud-native modernization to building platforms and scaling Infrastructure as Code processes for multiple development teams.
We are seeking a talented Lead/Senior Data Engineer eager to join us on this mission.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and maintenance of data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data workflows across our Azure-based analytics platform
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to a team of data engineers while establishing best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns
- Design and implement scalable data integration solutions for real-time and batch processing scenarios
- Collaborate with data architects, scientists and analytics engineers to optimize data delivery, storage solutions, and computational resources
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and process documentation for IT counterparts (on-prem and offshore)
- Support continuous improvement by investigating and presenting alternatives to processes and technologies to an architectural review board
- Develop and ensure adherence to published system architectural decisions and development standards

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years in team leadership
- Highly proficient in Databricks, and/or Snowflake
- Strong experience with Azure data stack
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field (industry experience substitutable)
- Expert level in data lakehouse, data warehouse design/architecture, dimensional data modeling and ETL process development
- Strong programming skills in:
- Python (pandas, PySpark, NumPy)
- SQL (T-SQL, Spark SQL)
- Experience with DBT, Delta Parquer, Orchestration tools (dagster, prefect, airflow, argo)
