Our mission is to support customers at various stages of their cloud journey, from initial migration and cloud-native modernization to building platforms and scaling Infrastructure as Code processes for multiple development teams.
We are seeking a talented Data Architect eager to join us on this mission.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design and evolution of our cloud-based data platform, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with business objectives
- Design and implement data integration patterns for diverse data sources, including real-time streaming and batch processing pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related services
- Establish data governance frameworks, including data quality standards, security policies, and compliance requirements across the platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data flows, storage solutions, and computational resources while maintaining system performance and cost efficiency
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in data architecture, with at least 4 years focused on cloud-based solutions
- Expertise in MS Azure Cloud (Azure Kubernetes, Data Factory, MS Fabric, cloud storage).
- Experience with Databricks, Snowflake and Medallion-based data architectures.
- Familiarity with Data Catalogs (Unity, DataHub) and data governance.
- Knowledge of tools like Dagster, Airflow, and Grafana for workflows and monitoring.
- Proficiency in Terraform, YAML, and CI/CD tools like GitHub and Azure DevOps.
- Docker for containerization, REST APIs for integrations.
- Professional English proficiency both written and spoken (min. C1).
